THE F.E.T.C. CHAMPIONSHIPS 2006

Fri. Aug 25 and Sat. Aug. 26, 2006, the Fort Erie Tennis Club held their annual Club Championships. Competition was well matched this year, with approximately 15-20 competitors. The weather and rain held out to beautiful conditions for tennis.

This year, the club added singles events for the Men and Ladies. The singles event was very well received. The results of the Championships are as follows; 

Mens A division singles went to Anthony Borelli over Frank Reddon.
Mens B division singles went to Patrick Baichoo over Luby Missov.
Ladies A division singles went to Sally Abell over Cheryl Athoe.
Mixed A division doubles went to Patrick Hudak and Sally Abell over Colin and Rona Ashton.
Mixed B division doubles went to Dave and Phyllis Weaver over Gary and Cheryl Athoe.
Mens A division doubles went to Frank Reddon and Colin Ashton over Anthony Borelli and Jonathan Wright.
Mens B division doubles went to Patrick Baichoo and Henry Au over Luby Missov and Dave Weaver. 
Ladies A division doubles went to Cindy Reid and Sally Abell over Phyllis Weaver and Cheryl Athoe.
